Experiment: Fresh scarification?

I stumbled upon some fruit netting and decided to play around with it..

I used latex to glue the net onto the face, originally a bright red colour, once I applied foundation it turned into a pinky colour - the effect created looked like healing scarification. Although, I may not use this for my final character design, I thought this was a fun experiment.
