The concept for my light prosthetic piece is 'down to earth', I want to decorate the face using a pattern inspired by earth and nature. My character exists in a world where they worship the land, inspired by the people of Africa and the Amazon, who do their all to conserve the natural earth and protect their roots.
Therefore, the shape of my prosthetic piece is inspired by the roots and branches of trees.
In the design process of my prosthetic piece image, I did so to give myself a better idea of what I want the outcome to look like. I played around with shapes and subtle use of colour, figuring out how I can make my image fuller and more interesting.
